Taking Your Dreamwork To The Next Level
By Linda Yael Schiller
Posted April 6, 2020
We all dream every night, whether or not we recall it. Neuroscience and brain scans tell us that we have five to seven REM (rapid eye movement) dreaming cycles per night. Our dreams give us a window into our deepest and wisest selves, and allow us to tap into wisdom that we cannot access while awake. The phrase “let me sleep on it” when confronted with a problem or dilemma is not just hyperbole; we actually can problem solve and gain insights into our waking world issues before, during, and after we wake from our dreams.
In addition, if we also attend to signs and symbols in our waking life as a form of waking dream, and approach these synchronicities (what Carl Jung called “meaningful coincidences”) in the same way that we approach our dreams, these waking dream states can also provide guidance our lives. You can harvest the wisdom from your dreams that can allow you to find your way back home to your truest self. More…
The World is Changing…Are You on the Transition Team?
By Paul Lenda
Posted March 24, 2020
The only constant in existence is change. When we resist change, we create conflict within ourselves. There is no stopping change from occurring, which is something we should always remember. Otherwise, we are resisting the very dynamics of Reality.
Change can be seen in two ways: as something that happens to us and as something that we initiate. Both are a part of the reality which we experience. We are powerful change agents and catalysts. Massive changes sometimes occur because of millions, or even billions of people making similar small changes within their lives. Regardless of whether macrocosmic forces are at place in those changes, such as cycles of time where there are golden ages and dark ages, a collective consciousness has the power to fundamentally transform its shared reality. Coronavirus Energetic And Holistic Treatments At Home
By Carol Bedrosian
Posted March 22, 2020
There is no time like the present to consider the safety, simplicity, effectiveness and affordability of energetic and holistic treatments for COVID-19 (Coronavirus 2019). Explore and experiment with this self-care information for yourself and loved ones, and share it freely. We will continue to update this post as we receive new information.
James Robb, MD, coronavirus expert, notes that the virus is spread in large droplets by coughing and sneezing, which others may then breathe directly into their lungs, or by touching their nose, eyes or mouth with contaminated hands. All surfaces where these droplets land can be infectious for up to a week, and we unconsciously touch our face up to 90 times per day, providing ample infection opportunities. Use only your knuckle to touch light switches, elevator buttons, and ATM touch screens. Use 60% alcohol disinfectant wipes or latex gloves before touching public shopping carts, door knobs, gas nozzles or any public surface. Wash your hands immediately for at least 20 seconds upon returning home. No handshaking; try a fist bump, elbow or foot tap, slight bow or namaste folded hands. Stay home as much as possible to avoid spreading or contracting the virus. More…
Now, We Get Local. Now the World Gets Real
by Tom Luongo
Posted March 21, 2020
Regardless of what you may think about the origins of COVID-19, bio-weapon or not, ‘just the flu’ or the new plague, the reality is that it is here. The response to it is real and the damage it has had on the global economy is real.
It doesn’t matter at this point in time whether the response is the right one or the wrong one. Because in an age where perception is more important than reality and has been that way for so long, we have no real frame of reference to guide our conclusions.
We have to put away the childish things we’ve been fighting over for the past five years politically.
How ridiculous and insipid do the identitarian fights over gender, race, sex and color look now? How dangerous and stupid does all that capital, that time spent, look now in hindsight when today people with skills, humility and high executive function are needed? More…
The corona virus is changing reality as we know it. Things will not be the same once this passes.
We are at a key point in time. We can choose to live in fear and competition with each other, or we can choose to live in caring and cooperation with each other. Which will you choose?
Let’s Contemplate A Future Without Money & How It Would Work
by Richard Enos
Posted March 15, 2020
While it is still not commonly held in mainstream discourse that humanity could survive and even thrive without some form of monetary exchange, more and more people that are starting to trace their general discontent about contemporary society to its source are finding money and profit motive at the root of it.
Perhaps the first of the knee-jerk reactions some people might have to the idea of shifting into a money-free system is the sinking feeling of watching their hard-earned wealth evaporate into nothingness, which they might equate with abject poverty. We are so programmed to equate money with abundance that we don’t understand what abundance truly is.
At the heart of it our ‘net’ abundance is shared, and is grounded in the resources available in nature on the planet. The aggregate of these natural resources not only represents our potential abundance but our very survival. A money system grants ownership to many of these resources, and makes it exponentially easier for those with abundance to get more abundance at the expense of the vast majority of people. A money system is, in some ways, antithetical to the proper management and distribution of these resources. Without money, each individual would naturally be entitled to their share of all the resources in the world, and that would never change. But how would such a system work? More…
Using Human Intention To Help Manifest The Physical World Into Being
By Richard Enos
Posted March 10, 2020
The idea that we actually manifest the physical world into being in every moment based on our thoughts used to be the stuff of fairy tales for most people. There was a sense that old sayings like ‘As ye think, so shall ye be,’ and ‘Everything is possible for him who believes,’ were considered to have some mysterious wisdom, but few really took them to be direct conditions of reality itself.
A little over a decade ago, however, many started to take the subject more seriously. The popularity of a movie and book entitled ‘The Secret,’ which brags 28+ million copies in print translated into 52 languages, was an important contributor to the popularization of the idea that we can manifest the things we want in our lives through the power of intention. Plant Neurobiology Shows How Trees are Just Like Humans
By Sarah Ripper
Posted March 5, 2020
You have more in common with trees than you think. It’s not such a weird idea when the emerging field of plant neurobiology is seeing increasing collaborations with other fields into the nature of plant intelligence. These studies are prompting scientists and spiritual communities, such as Damanhur, to reconsider the scope of communication and adaptation found in nature.
From a spiritual perspective, plants can be viewed as the ultimate alliance for human beings as all life forms part of a spiritual ecosystem where matter and form co-exist. Within this co-existence, the environment is an integral part of leading a holistic and balanced life. Science is beginning to echo what indigenous peoples, tree-huggers, shamans and spiritual teachers have been saying for a very long time. We do have far more in common with our leafy friends than we once thought. More…
Five Ways to Stop Comparing Yourself with Others
by Joshua Howard
Posted February 10, 2020
One area of life that many of us struggle with is comparing ourselves to others. Sometimes, people are better than us at certain things, have things we wish we had, or live the lives we want to live. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
In fact, there are a few things you can do starting today to stop comparing yourself to others.
One of the simplest ways to stop comparing yourself to others is to see yourself and others as if you’re on a journey. It may seem trite, but if everybody is on their own personal journey then there’s no right or wrong way to be doing what anybody is doing. If you’re on a journey, the things that matters are the destination or the experience of getting there. More…
A biologist believes that trees speak a language we can learn
By Ephrat Livni
Posted February 8, 2020
I’m in a redwood forest in Santa Cruz, California, taking dictation for the trees outside my cabin. They speak constantly, even if quietly, communicating above- and underground using sound, scents, signals, and vibes. They’re naturally networking, connected with everything that exists, including you.
Biologists, ecologists, foresters, and naturalists increasingly argue that trees speak, and that humans can learn to hear this language.
Many people struggle with this concept because they can’t perceive that trees are interconnected, argues biologist George David Haskell in his 2017 book The Songs of Trees. Connection in a network, Haskell says, necessitates communication and breeds languages; understanding that nature is a network is the first step in hearing trees talk. More…
